[00:00:00] Monika Marx is a product specialist with Jane App. She is responsible for onboarding all US. Corporate accounts. She works from her log cabin in the West Kootenay Mountains, where she can be found wandering in the forest with her rescue dog, Marlow.
[00:01:05] Jane is a Canadian based company. Started growing mostly in US. Cash practices. But what we started to see is that they also need a solution for insurance as well. So, product team started to develop that and build that. Now I'm really proud of our US insurance features.
[00:02:47] The differences between Canada and the United States medical systems are definitely unique. Tell us more about the US insurance features in Jane. When you're in network, what you have the opportunity to do in Jane is electronically create your claim submissions. Change is hard and it's scary to move to a new way of doing things.
[00:05:59] What are some challenges you see clinics facing when billing insurance? There's always a learning curve when you're transitioning to a new software. Often our corporate clinics are coming over from a previous software experience. We do our best to support them through that.
[00:07:09] Jane is going to go into beta testing by the end of this year with a direct clearinghouse integration. Customer feedback is what drives product development. You can upvote feature requests, add comments to those, as well as create your own.
[00:08:28] "I love the onboarding process," says Monika. "I get to really know my clinics and get to know their businesses and what they're looking for and then kind of guide them and help them get set up. I get to set them up for success."
